You know, I've noticed that it's relatively easy to hack someone's account. Is it possible that yall could create a security question thing like other sites that you have to answer if you forget your password instead of just having to know someone's email address?
yes. HR. that's an exilent idea. i know a lot of forums do that as well.

It's much easier for somebody to guess the answers to the questions than access to the email and get the reset code they give. I don't know about other sites but hotmail gives questions like: What is the name of your first school or father's first name or something. But i think the zone is more secure because it sends an email to the email you type and you have to have access to the email to read it.
Ok, there are 2 posts by the exact same person that are exactly the same. Maybe you should all go look at the other post here for an explination from J-Squared at why this is not a good idea. I thiink you'll find that if you go and reset any users password, you wont get in to their account unless you have access to their email. A new password is generated and sent to your email and a link to reset it. Its not justa case of entering an email address and gaining a users password. Anyway, go look at the other post.
Let me clear up one more thing here aswell (thanks nikos, you made me remember something). You cant just go and type any old email address, it WONR WORK. You must enter the email address registered with the account. Its all stored in a database and all your details corispond, if that email address does not match, you cant reset your password.
